About Culture Kick
Culture KICK is a university based network involving 8 partners from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Island which conduct practice-based and collaborative research with creative industry partners as well as heritage institutions.
The project started as an initiative of University of Oslo / Intermedia and Interactive Institute Swedish ICT / NODEM, and is financially supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers (Norden).
Interactive Institute Swedish ICT/NODEM is responsible for activities related to knowledge transfer from our network activities and University of Oslo / Intermedia is in charge of managing the research network.
To reach its goal, Culture KICK invites researchers, ICT experts and cultural heritage professionals to send in articles, research projects or publications focused on knowledge transfer between CH institutions and the ICT industry, that explore methods to enhance the knowledge base on issues such as sustainable technical, design related and interpretative solutions, conceptual frameworks and design methods for cultural heritage. All submissions will be stored and published on the Culture KICK digital repository and will be included in the know-how book series of the project.
Contributions can be sent to halina@tii.se.
